"Paper Airplane" - new story

October's almost over and this is my first post of any kind? The laid-back atmosphere of my new town must be getting to me. But here's a new story.

More stories to come in the near future. Also stay tuned for a Warm Bodies publishing update in probably a week or two.

  1. So sad, yet so beautiful. I've been waiting for this.

  2. I can't wait to read this, as a matter of fact I'm restraining my excitement by restraining profanity.

When are you going to republish The Inside for public consumption? All my friends want to read it but I don't want to rob you of the chance to rob them.

  3. @ Karen:

You know, her story is tragic, but it's his story that makes me sad.

On one side, there's the Icarus parallel. He's cautious of imperiling his heart by getting too close to this girl.

On the other side, there's the existential ennui. He drifts so close to a self-directed journey, and yet comes back with nothing. It's incredibly sad to see someone capable of such emotions and thoughts just give up.

    Sigh. Thanks, Isaac.

  4. You guys are really nice readers, thank you for your comments. I've got a very different, much more FUN story in the works right now, stay tuned!
